Warm, person-first NDIS support from a team that knows Parramatta

Disability Support in the Heart of Parramatta
Parramatta is Sydney’s second CBD — a lively, multicultural hub on Burramatta Dharug Country — and it is a community we are genuinely proud to serve. Hold Hands Services works alongside NDIS participants right across the suburb, delivering flexible, person-centred support shaped around your goals, your culture and your everyday routine.
Our support workers know the area well. That might mean meeting you at home near Westmead, practising travel skills on the train into the station, joining you for a shop at Westfield on Church Street, or sharing a relaxed walk through World Heritage-listed Parramatta Park. We fit support around the life you already live, and we also look after participants in neighbouring suburbs including Harris Park, Granville, Northmead, Merrylands and Rydalmere.
As a registered NDIS provider, quality and safety underpin everything we do. We take the time to match you with support workers who suit your personality, language and preferences — because good support starts with a good relationship. Get in touch to talk about how we can help with your NDIS plan.

Parramatta NDIS Questions, Answered
Straight answers to the things local participants and families ask us most often.
How do I get started with Hold Hands Services?
It starts with a simple conversation. Call or email us and we will arrange a free, no-obligation chat to hear about your goals, look at your NDIS plan together and explain how our services could fit. From there, we match you with support workers who suit your needs and preferences, and support can usually begin soon after.
What NDIS plan types do you work with?
We support participants with NDIA-managed, plan-managed and self-managed plans. If you are unsure what your funding covers, our team can help you understand your Core and Capacity Building budgets and how to use them for the supports you actually want.
Can a support worker help me get out and about locally?
Absolutely. Many participants ask for help building confidence on public transport — for example, practising the trip to Parramatta Station and the bus interchange, attending appointments around the Westmead health precinct, or simply enjoying an outing to the shops or the park. Travel training and community access are a big part of what we do.
I live just outside the suburb — can you still support me?
Yes. Alongside the suburb itself, we regularly support participants in Harris Park, Granville, Northmead, Merrylands, Rydalmere and other nearby Western Sydney suburbs. If you are unsure whether we cover your street, just ask — chances are we do.
What if I want to change from my current provider?
Choice and control sit at the heart of the NDIS, so you are always free to switch. We make moving to Hold Hands Services straightforward: we will talk through your existing supports, coordinate any handover details and make sure there is no gap in the care you rely on.
A Local NDIS Provider for the Parramatta Community
Finding the right NDIS provider is about more than ticking boxes on a service list. It is about trust, consistency and feeling genuinely understood. At Hold Hands Services, we build long-term relationships with participants and families across Parramatta, combining real local knowledge with a person-first approach that puts your choices at the centre of every decision.
This is a suburb on the move — from the alfresco Eat Street dining precinct along Church Street to the new Sydney Metro station taking shape near the existing interchange. Whatever changes around you, our commitment stays the same: reliable, respectful support that helps you live independently and stay connected to the people and places you love.
Making the Most of Your NDIS Plan
No two NDIS plans are the same, so we work alongside you, your family and your support coordinator to make sure every hour of funding counts. If you are new to the scheme or thinking about changing providers, we will walk you through the process step by step. You can also explore how the scheme works on the official National Disability Insurance Scheme website.
From Westmead to Harris Park and everywhere in between, we are here to help locals thrive at home and in the community. Reach out today to arrange a relaxed, no-pressure conversation about the support you are looking for.
